One More Chance

I turned around too late to see the fallen star
I fell asleep and never saw the sun go down
I took your love for granted
Thought luck was always on my side
I turned around too late and you were gone

Chorus:
So give me one more chance
Darlin' if you care for me
Let me win your love
'Cause you were always there for me
If you care for me,
Be there for me

I like to play the queen of hearts and never thought I'd lose
I rolled the dice but never showed my hand
I planned it out so perfectly,
So you'd never leave a [guy] like me
I was a fool, but now I understand

(chorus)

Here is the law of the land
You play with fire and you'll get burned
Here is the lesson I've learned
That you don't know what you've got til it's gone

(chorus, without last two lines)

Gimme one more chance
Tell me that it's not too late
Let me win your love
Darlin' please don't hesitate
If you care for me,
Be there for me

Dear Kurt,
*sigh* Today was as gloomy as my mood.

I got up at 9 a.m. and had a bagel and yogurt for breakfast then I tidyed up my room and got ready for work. I left my house before 10 a.m. because I had some errands to do.

1. I stopped by the check-cashing place next door to Stater Bros. to buy a new 30 day bus pass because the one I had expires tonight.

I took the 71 bus at 10:15 a.m. and got to work early as always so

2. I went to the AIM Mail Center next door to buy some large document envelopes to mail my INS stuff, the girl was nice. :-)

I clocked into work at 11:24 a.m. and it was slow today but at least there was something to do like keep the place looking clean.

*sigh* I was upset because I didn't get my paycheck, Rumi had to take her husband [and owner of the place] Jay to the doctor after he was having foot pain so she had our checks; Teresa cooled me off telling me "What do you want me to do Franciso?! I need money too and I can't make her come" I guess i'll have to wait until Sunday to get my paycheck...

I clocked out at 2:30 p.m., Pinto was nice enough to let me take a Cabo Chicken sandwich so I ate it on the bus. :-D

I got home early at 3:15 p.m. so I had dinner soon with Mom and Evan; we had beans and beef in chile sauce, mmmm!

That's all for now, I'm having a chat with Erika.

Love,
Pancho Pantera

*sigh* That song playing makes me cry, it's for Juan... I hope we can work it out.
